Hashtag my wrinkly face skin.
Jen, Steve and I just wrapped up the final hike of the weekend and it was hazy and hot and hurt like a hangover, but we did the damn thing anyway.
Also, I forgot to post yesterday's picture from the peak so I'll do that below. It features Amanda, myself, Steve, Will and very many trees. We're all cute as hell (especially the trees). Oh, and Amanda hiked the trail in flip-flops.
P.S. I didn't do tests in a laboratory or anything, but I'm nearly to incredibly certain that most if not all of the sweat in both photos is purely alcohol.
This morning Jen, Sienna, Will and I ran ten miles and afterwards Jen, Karen, Steve, Will and I hiked six or seven more and now Bevan's readying the blender for frozen drinks and can I pretty please live in this life always?
A handful of the activities that we participated in today, the second to last of our Michigan vacay, include hiking to my mom's bench at Lost Lake,
exploring the eighty-three-year-old blockhouse in Muskegon State Park,
racing go-karts at Craig's Cruisers,
wasting many American dollars at an arcade,
and feasting on burgers and fries at a restaurant near the mall.
We also sipped alcoholic beverages and hugged loved ones at Parties in the Park and attended a bonfire that included s'mores at Chris and Kelly's house. Regretfully, I don't have shareable pics of the last two activities.
