I'm currently experiencing all of my emotions while reading Michael Tolliver Lives, the seventh book in Armistead Maupin's oh-so-wonderful Tales of the City series, and the following line made me feel happy and sad and old.
"Doesn't sound like me, does it? I wasn't nearly as self-conscious back then. I'd take off my clothes at the drop of a hat. I went to orgies like they were brunches."
