My mom sent me the following email for my thirty-first birthday earlier this week and it's beautiful and simple and it may or may not have made me cry. I considered not sharing it on this web log because, well, it's kinda personal, but ultimately I decided that I'm much more likely to find it again if I put it here rather than let it get buried in my inbox with more than eleven thousand other emails, so yeah, it can be found below. Oh, and I'd like to note that my mom typed it with her eyes.
I hope you know that we will always be together on your birthday and every day, no matter where we are. Thank you for being a perfect son. You are exactly what we ordered and so much more.
I love you so much.
P.S. I hope you have something fun planned for tonight.
