Its Announced End

It's 8:23 on this springtime Sunday evening and I'm sitting in a chair at the dining room table in a completely empty house with a load of laundry in the dryer and a gluten free frozen pizza in the oven and Eve 6's debut album, the one with "Inside Out" on it, is playing through my laptop speakers and so I've got the summer before eighth grade on my mind and I'm a little bit disappointed that I failed to get any graduation cards sent out but also pretty pleased that I got a lot of writing in and I'm missing my family so much and I'm in the middle of a great book and this 2014 Nobilo Sauvignon Blanc has me kinda lifted and I want B to get home soon so we can watch Silicon Valley and I hope your weekend was memorable and that you're not sad about tomorrow being Monday and that your week ahead is exceptional.

"The rhythm of the weekend, with its birth, its planned gaieties, and its announced end, followed the rhythm of life and was a substitute for it."
