Corey and Tommy Do Oakland

Last night, despite the fact that it was not a Tuesday, Daniel and I boarded a BART train at Powell Street and got off seven stops later at Ashby Station and then we walked several blocks to Tommy's crib where we joined he and Kedar and Tejal for an evening of Indian street food at Juhu Beach Club (I recommend the Bhel Salad) and warm tequila shots and free popcorn at The Kingfish (um, that Fish Punch though) and more alcohol and some cue sports at WhiteHorse Bar (the country's oldest gay bar) and then a little bit of karaoke at Nick's Lounge (it felt like a VFW) before hitting up Jack in the Box in a Lyft car for some midnight French fries, all to celebrate Tejal's last days in the Bay Area before she moves east to the Big Apple.
