I awoke this morning to drizzle and fog, but the temperature was nearing forty so I squeezed into my favorite pair of running tights, pulled a beanie over my head and went on a run through my parents' neighborhood to take some photos. Their neighborhood is unique in the fact that they live on a small lake just where it feeds into a Great one, so the scenery is as diverse and it is breathtaking. There are beaches and dunes and hills and lighthouses and trails and water—miles and miles of water—which you can see from almost anywhere in town.
I managed to get a few soggy miles in before the rain and the wind got the better of me. Below are some of the photos I managed to capture along the way.
