San Francisco got a bath this week and my ability to be productive took something of a sabbatical. I'm not sure if the two are related, but I spent almost all of my recreational time between Monday and Friday on the couch eating bad (delicious though unhealthy) food and watching entertaining things on the Apple TV, mainly movie trailers and reruns of The Newsroom, while the rain came down. I promise I'm not complaining, but a purposeful week it was not.
I did, however, spend a fair amount of time contemplating my goals for the New Year and I've decided that I'm gonna make ringtones a priority in 2015. When did those go out of style? Actually, I think the better question is, why did they go out of style? Ringtones. Are. Awesome. For real though. I know that some people hate them. Actually, I know that a lot of people hate them. In fact, off the top of my head I can recall reading a tweet a few years ago that went something like "Hell is other people's ringtones." But not my hell, people of Twitter. I want my fellow N-train passengers to know when Kelly is calling me (Oh hey there, theme song from Sister, Sister.). I want everyone in my office within earshot of my pocket to know that "Seasons of Love" is my Hump Day power track. I want the people waiting in line near me at Starbucks to nod along to "My Humps" when my parents call.
Anyway, 2015 is gonna be The Year of the Ringtone. Get excited, people.
