Friday Night Nuptials

Bevan, Sidney and I donned swank duds and snagged a Lyft to City Hall earlier this evening to attend the wedding of Mark and Michael, two of Bevan's closest friends. Because Mark is Jewish and Michael is not the wedding ceremony (which Bevan officiated and Sid ring bearer-ed) was half-Jewish and half something else and included singing, the holding aloft of a blanket by four wooden branches and the stomping and subsequent breaking of glassware. Immediately following the groom kiss, all 75 or so attendees gathered in the Mayor's chambers for a champagne toast before heading to dinner at the happy couple's crib in Nob Hill.
