Haiku from the Highway

My siblings and I are currently four hours into an eight-hour road trip to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania where we'll be spending Thanksgiving with our older brother Chad and his wife and offspring. Because I'm not one to fall fast asleep in transit, I decided before we left that I would utilize some of the idle time to document memorable parts of our trek. And so I did.

Trees pass in dark streaks,
brazen stars light our journey;
my brother sleep farts.
